PricePilot
Configuration
Configure PricePilot sync, reservation, and integration settings.
Once Recharge is connected, configure sync and reservation options:
- Navigate to the PricePilot app in Shopify.
- Set your sync options, including the lookahead period, grace period, and lowest price guarantee.
- Lookahead period: how many days ahead PricePilot looks for upcoming renewals to price sync.
- Grace period: PricePilot will not update prices for subscriptions charging within this window, so nobody sees a last-minute price change.
- Guarantee lowest website price: when enabled, customers always get the lowest price on your website. Price decreases ignore the grace period. Use it if you offer a best-price guarantee.
- Free shipping protection: when enabled, PricePilot will not increase a subscription price when the increase comes from shipping costs. Set a threshold that separates a shipping-related change from a product price change.
- Increase cooldown: once a subscription's price has been increased, PricePilot will not increase it again for the chosen window (off by default, up to 7 days). Use it when your Shopify prices change several times a day. Decreases are never delayed. See Price Sync.
- Configure your reservation options.
- Reservation days: how many days ahead PricePilot reserves stock for your subscribers.
- To choose which products are eligible for reservation, open the Products section of PricePilot.
- Select Apply to all products in the store to select all products up to your plan limit.
- Select Manually upload a CSV of products to upload the list of eligible products (Pro plan or higher). The CSV needs a Handle column identifying the parent product, the same format Shopify product exports use.
- To put certain subscribers first when stock is tight, turn on Prioritise VIP customers.
- Search for customers to add them to the manual VIP list. You can save up to 500 manual VIP customers.
- Add up to 3 Shopify customer tags for tag-based VIP matching. Tag values must match the customer record in Shopify exactly.
- Manual VIP customers always take priority over tag-matched VIP customers.
- VIP priority applies to newly available stock only and never displaces an existing reservation.
- (Optional) To send subscription price change events to Klaviyo, open Integrations and click Connect Klaviyo. OAuth is the recommended setup; Use manual API key instead is the fallback.
PricePilot syncs prices every 2 hours and reserves stock every 2 hours. You can also trigger a price sync manually at any time.
For VIP setup in detail, see VIP Priority.
